what would you do?
It's not everyday you find a credit union willing to give you $20 with one simple request: Pay it Forward.
The reason
People helping people. That's the credit union difference, and at Educational Credit Union we're giving you a chance to experience our values first hand.
The question
This October, during Credit Union week, Oct. 13th - 16th, visit one of our branches to tell us "If Educational Credit Union gave me $20 to help someone else, I would..." In return for your answers, we’ll give the first 25 participants at each location $20 - free with the assignment to create your ripple and pay it forward.
The video
Whatever your plans for the $20, we’ll videotape your intentions, and when you submit a follow-up to dwiggs@educationalcu.org, your video will be posted online starting October 26th. At that time you’ll just need to follow the link on our home page in order to find ECU's YouTube site. Then tell everyone you know to comment on your video. Each comment equals one vote!

The payout
From October 26 to November 1, 2009, visitors to ECU’s YouTube website can comment on their favorite videos. The winner with the most comments will pocket $500 and receive a $500 donation to their charity of choice!
